About Me.
Lead Yoga Instructor: Licia Ficulle
I am a Pranaa Yoga teacher, (350hr Yoga teacher training in 2021) I love Pranayama (15hr training) and I’m also trained in Yoga for Menopause Well-being (40hrs training).
I truly believe in the power of sharing, as every life deserves to be told.
My Pranaa Yoga classes are accessible to everyone, from beginners to experienced yogis and yoginis. I always incorporate in my practice Pranayama to help people feel present with an open heart. I love using props: having a block, a strap, a blanket and a cushion/bolster can help us to get deeper in a pose, but mostly, can help to understand the power of being supported and/or asking for help.
Sharing yoga with people is my mission as Yoga saves my life every day.
The motto I often use is “my breath is my anchor; my anchor is my breath”.
We are born as unique and special human beings, even though sometimes we feel lost, unloved and not enough. The power of Yoga is to create union between your body, mind and spirit with no judgement or frustration and thanks to Yoga we realise that we are love. Everything we need is already within us.
Yoga for menopause wellbeing is a big project for me: reframing the narration around menopause is what we need. Why do women feel ashamed of entering this natural phase of life? Yoga, Pranayama and meditation will support Goddesses to reclaim their crowns. During the 7 phases of Menopause we can experience a wide range of symptoms, for this reason I like to tailor each class to mitigate those signs and discomforts, from hot flushes to sleeplessness, from anxiety to lack of motivation. Women, it is now time to take care of yourselves: body, mind and spirit.
In my life I’ve dealt with traumas and mental health issues but each of those obstacles has brought me here, with a big suitcase full of skills and tools to improve our lives and I can’t wait to share them with you.
Jai Bhagwan,
Licia
